Review:

I remember how us teenagers acted so immature back in secondary school, many teenagers use to misbehave, cause fights, get in argument with teacher and even get expelled on minor things. However in today’s society the way children misbehave are becoming very major and its evolving into a category where crime rates are increasing and they just misbehave constantly, it makes you wonder how happy you were that you never turn out to be an alcoholic at the age of 15!

Most importantly murder someone in such a young age. Perfect prefect accomplishes that method of presenting how teenagers act towards society, in my opinion it manages to nail to present an example to teenagers what drinking does to you and where it leads to in life.

The camera shots was very creative indeed, the CCTV alongside with the use of sound just present a feeling that something doesn’t feel right or someone is missing. The multiples of camera shot of the group of girls drinking was very impressive, the camera shot seemed very smooth and delicate alongside with the lighting. Most importantly the setting of course, being set somewhere behind the Astroturf is a realistic strategy of how most teenagers would do in real life. If I was a teenager and I wanted to bunk a lesson why not hide between the trees and share some fun into your self, why not stay in the toilets, or even why not try escaping.

The acting was very professional; the actor that seemed the best was Olivia. Her facial expression was marvellous I actually believed the situation she was in and the way she acted just seemed very realistic. Most actors in film just don’t know how to put themselves in the picture, in order to act just be yourself considering just put yourself in that characters shoe.

The mean evil Sam was just plain evil by having that amazing twist at the end was the key! That moment where Olivia and Kate sees the projector screen of them being shot adding into that freaky sound was just….oh my goodness. After viewing that scene and ending it with Sam stroking his badge just made me drop out of my seat and had butterflies in my stomach for weeks. For reviewing many films this had to be one of the freakiest endings ever and it’s something that most film should include, which of course an effective twist.

Overall by giving it a 5 star definitely deserved that place, the perfect prefect is just considered to be a amazing thriller short film and I hope that in the future there will be a sequel to the film.

5 star – Marvellous!!!!
